WELCOME TO HORSESHOE LAKE CAMP
Where Serenity Meets Eternity
FULFILLING THE GREAT COMMISSION, ONE CAMPER AT A TIME
A family-run Christian camp being built in the heart of Cleveland, Texas.
We’re creating a place where kids, students, families, and churches can come to grow in faith, experience nature, and escape the distractions of everyday life.

Our mission is rooted in Matthew 28:18-20 — to go and make disciples. Through Gospel-centered programming, engaging outdoor experiences, and Christ-focused community, we’re preparing the next generation to be advocates for Christ.

ABOUT US
Horseshoe Lake Camp came to fruition through the obedience of two God-fearing families who answered the call to share the love of Jesus through camp ministry. In 2023, following a 16-year career in banking and years dedicated to ministry, Omar Santana was presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — to build and operate a Christian campground on donated land. With support from a generous partner, the vision began.

UPDATES & EVENTS
Construction Update – September 2025
We are thrilled to announce that construction for Horseshoe Lake Camp is now in
progress. The pad sites for bunkhouses, chapel, basketball court and dining hall have
been cleared and are currently being prepped for concrete work.
July 2025- Horseshoe Lake Camp held its first ever boys camp in July. It was an
unforgettable experience filled with excitement, as a courageous group of boys
embraced the sweltering Texas heat to take part in our landmark first camp session.
The camp's theme was "Man Up!", which was quite appropriate given the tent sleeping
arrangements!
Check back often to stay informed as we move forward.
